Haug Back In Action
A key member of SMF came out of retirement this weekend as Dave Haug shook off the rust and laced up the cleats on Ohio field. After several years off Haug picked up right where he left of running over potential tacklers and getting down field for some key plays. In the end it wasnt enough to get the victory but Haug showed if he comes back next game he can still run with the big dawgs.

Baker Makes It To The Hall
After several seasons of SMF, defensive back TJ Baker has made his way into the Hall of Fame. A unanimous vote allowed this ball hawk to join the elite group of SMF players. Baker will be participating in next weeks Turkey Bowl, and he hopes to prove to everyone why he deserves this honor.

T Bowl '09 Creates Hype
The fans will be out, the players will be suited up, and the moms will be preparing a feast for teams later. This years Turkey Bowl is creating a lot of buzz around the league. With the usual cast of stars such as Baker, Fritz, Jablonski, and Miranto, some old faces maybe in the mix as well. Rumors around the league have been spread that veterans Joe Russell and Matt Pacana are expected to make appearances. While fullback Chuck Cino is back in action after sitting out last years game due to family obligations. Also on the field will be rookie linebacker Jim Urban and rookie defensive end Jeff Hazel.
